Is teaching abroad right for me?

Do you enjoy working with children? Are you interested in adding teaching work experience to your resume? Do you want to support disadvantaged communities? If you answered yes, this is the project for you!

You’ll work with a local teacher, planning lessons and activities to encourage students to practice English. It’s a great way to boost your resume and develop skills like organization and classroom management.

No previous experience or qualifications needed. You'll work with teachers who can guide you, and we run regular workshops for support.

What will I do?

As a Teaching volunteer, you’ll work at a school alongside experienced local teachers, focusing on English, extracurriculars, and lesson planning.

Teach English

Teach grammar and pronunciation through games and flashcards. Encourage students to speak English as much as possible.

Extracurriculars

Get involved in art, sports, music, and drama in the afternoons. Help children embrace their creative sides.

Prepare Lessons

Plan lessons with clear goals. This is a vital skill for your CV. We provide workshops and online resources to help you.

Maasai School

Teach at a school for Maasai children on the outskirts of Arusha. Focus on literacy and basic English for children with little access to education.

Aims & Impact

The aim is to give children in rural Tanzania an opportunity to improve their English, a key skill for employment and success.

We support local teachers at disadvantaged schools to improve literacy and ensure safe learning environments. Our 5 long-term goals include improving English, safety, classroom support, literacy, and teaching techniques.
